The Bundesanwaltschaft is the highest law enforcement authority in Germany. Its building is located opposite the HfG Karlsruhe. In 2018 both institutions collaborated in lectures given by federal prosecutors on their fields of terror, genocide or espionage to students of the Media Arts department. In return the students got the possibility to take photographs of the building designed by Oswald Matthias Unger. I contributed to the seminar by making a book with all 3.195 images. To examine the role of the institution and their interest in the medium of photography, I developed a concept where all images got interpreted by a machine-vision app (API). With the intention to expose the fragility of AI-based technologies in the fields of law enforcement, I unexpectedly stumbled upon moments of poetry created by a machine as well.
