Zero Font

(about)
The geometric sans serif and its specimen are a study on basic forms used in font design. The type design works with reduction and essential formal questions. This eventually leads to playful endings and subtle optical alignments. The Golden Ratio is used to find balanced proportions for the x-height, letter and line width. The specimen searches for different forces taking effect on the shape like gravitation, fluency, stability and symbolism. Therefor each letter is opposed to the photograph of a plant that shows a similar structure.
